Greetings of the day!
Earlier I was working with a leading bank as an HR Executive looking up Recruitments & Onboard process for 9 months(contractual) & I did my MBA in 2012,
Right now I have got an offer from one Vendor of Leading two wheeler & 4 wheelers company as a Mgmt Trainee in HR On the other hand got an Offer from one Japanese printer manufacturing company in corporate profile an HR Executive both offering same package 7 profile only environment differs.
Pls guide me which option should I opt for whether in a manufacturing industry or in service industry(corporate environment) for my future career growth aspect in HR Domain.

The world is full of infinite opportunities and also infinite possibilities and therefore no body can suggest what suits you best. You are the only judge in your career.Service sector which includes banking, finance, insurance, I.T & ITES as wellas retail sector is huge, offering wide opportunities. The HR profile in servcie sector has white collar orienation and less of hard core IR orientation, as what I gather. On the other hand, the HR profile in manufacturing sector provides opportunities to devlop core competencies in IR,labour welfare, people mangement and statutory compliances which have value additions. It is all sweat and toil in manufacturing sector and somewhat soft in servcie sector. A diversified experience across various industries is always a value addition.

You need to understand as to whay you want to opt for job switch.

1)Is it for better pay and perks?

2) Is it for different job profile?

3) Is it for diversified job profile?

4)Does the decision have any relationship with your career plans in future?

You need to consider all these factors and take call by yourself.

This is my view.

Thanks sir for your kind suggestion.
Both organisations are offering me the same profile & same package in manufacturing co. they are offering me a position of Management trainee & in another one(its a japan based MNC) they are offering me the post of HR Executive & same profile.
Sir, from my point of view being in a MNC will give me more exposure as being in a MNC I can work more on my communication skills & more corporate exposure but someone told me that in a manufacturing industry I have more options to grow in HR domain rather than a MNC. Pls guide as I don't have much knowledge relet to this & I there is no one to guide me in this aspect.

A HR in manufacturing sector is viewed as some one who passed through grind and thus better equipped to handle hard core HR and is acceptable in other sectors of industry while a HR from servcie sector may not find it easy to get into a manufacturing sector as skill sets and knowledge requirements for handling HR in manufacturing sector are different. You also need to be sure that you have aptitude for manufacturing HR. Therefore take a considered decision after examininga all factors as discussedin my earlier post.
