Hello, everybody, my name is Vaseem. I am a new member of the HR site. I have recently completed my graduation in 2007, and I am currently working for one of the reputed companies in India (Hyderabad). I want to pursue an MBA with an HR specialization, but unfortunately, I can't leave my job. Please help me out by suggesting some universities that offer a valuable certified MBA and still have admission dates where I can pursue my MBA without interruption in my job.

I am looking forward to your valuable suggestions.

Hi,

I suggest that you pursue an MBA from ICFAI at Hyderabad. You can obtain the contact number from the directory or visit the Google site. I believe they offer part-time MBA courses as well as correspondence programs.

I hope this information resolves your query.

I agree that ICFAI is one of the good universities, but their MBA seems a little bit costly for me. Can you suggest another university? I have received an email from the Indian School of Business Management (ISBM) at www.isbm.org.in. Could you tell me if it is a good university?

Apart from that, I would like to know one more thing: is there any difference between pursuing an MBA from a reputed university and private universities like the National Institute of Business Management at www.nibmglobal.com?

Thank you so much for your suggestion. But tell me, will it make a difference if I am going to do an MBA from any private deemed university like www.isbm.org.in or should I do it from a recognized university.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Hi Vaseem,

As Karunna mentioned, that is a good option for you. Additionally, you can also check out Symbiosis's correspondence courses. You will find information on that site.

Hi,

I realize you are in a dilemma of choosing an institute. If I were in your place, I have the following options: ICFAI, Symbiosis, NIBM, or ISBM. I would prefer ICFAI any day as it is close to my vicinity, which is Hyderabad. Symbiosis would be the next option, but definitely not the others. Deemed universities are not recognized everywhere. The rest is up to you.

I hope I have tried to solve your dilemma.

Thank you all for your valuable suggestions.

I have a total of 3 years of experience in the ITES industry. Do you think it will make a difference if I am pursuing an MBA from a private deemed university versus a recognized university?

My view on this is that when you have the experience, the company where you are interviewing will evaluate your skills and knowledge. I am not saying that they will not consider your certificate, but what they value more is your experience, if you have it. Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.

Hi Vaseem,

Based on your experience, you can gain admission directly into the second year of an MBA in International Business Management. You can consider joining INLEAD as they provide 100% placement assistance and offer paid internships during the program.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance or information.

Thank you.
