Dear Mohan,
If you have searched the the net and got some guidelines then I recommend you writing the draft of the letter on your own and upload on this forum. Some senior like me will correct it.
Ok, writing letter apart, I have few questions to ask. Why you were required to "ask" for salary increment? Why these did not happen automatically? Don't you have performance-linked salary increase? Moreover, you have described your colleague as "the employee working with us as sales specialist for more than 8 years with v. good performance , achievements and hard worker." Under these circumstances why is he slogging in company of this kind? In fact I have this question for you also? Are you working in some professional company? It is important for you to have some reflective thinking.
Thanks,

Ok, writing letter apart, I have few questions to ask. Why you were required to "ask" for salary increment? Because the salary of my colleague is unfair with his performance and compare with other colleague who’s joined us 2 year ago and even their target less than him Why these did not happen automatically? It should be happened every two year but I become to know his increment will be only around 100$ monthly which better not to give Don't you have performance-linked salary increase? I believe no Moreover, you have described your colleague as "the employee working with us as sales specialist for more than 8 years with v. good performance , achievements and hard worker." Under these circumstances why is he slogging in company of this kind? For this I met our GM to know why , In fact I have this question for you also? Are you working in some professional company? Yes It is important for you to have some reflective thinking.

As any company that respects its employees will always look at ways of rewarding their productive employees, as raise in the salary will be given to the employees based on their productiveness for the company and their performance value, also these are the most important aspects therefore below you will find the figures for his achievements, performance &productivity :

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL :

For the last 4 years he’s performance appraisal was >3 with my recommendation to hold new position (ex. Supervisor or key Account Manager ) as he covering (area name) .

Reference to the above business case, I am sure that (employee name ) deserves a salary increment so I’m ask to raise his salary with 20% - 25% of his recent salary (10,000.00).

Assured that he will continue to carry out his duties efficiently and with the same dedication exemplified over the years.

Thank you and I sincerely anticipate your favorable action on the matter.

Sincerely,

Dear Mohan,
The corrected draft is attached to this post.
By the way, you need to improve your drafting skills in a big way. In fact, I am not 100% satisfied with the corrected draft however, I could not spare more time in corrections. Therefore, I have done the most important corrections.
My last recommendations are on ad hoc salary increase. I strongly recommend linking annual salary increase to the performance appraisal. Therefore, no recommendations are required of this kind.
All the best!
