I am new to the blog
I am working as a HR Trainee in a private company
I have a query regarding, whether the employees covered under ESI are eligible for sick leaves or not under company policy?
Kinldy let me know on this

whatever be the company policy, if anyone who is covered under esic he is not elgible for sick leave as because sickness benefit is already provided him/her by esic itself.

Anusuya, Acts are for minimum as the provisons are in ESI also , there is no restriction for over and above facilities given to employees. Thanks Mritunjay Nath Sahu GM(HR)

Thank you for the information But let me know is there a prescribed section under any act saying that sick leaves are not given to employees covered under ESIC, if so could you please share it
