Organisation denying early relievingDear sir i am working with a pvt. sector bank for last 2 years. now i have been offered an employment in ntpc but i am unable to serve the notice period in bank 3 months. as per my terms of employment here in bank a specific terms suggests "the bank alone at it discretion may opt to make/accept payment in lieu of notice period which will be calculated on the basis of monthly gross salary". now when i resigned on 8 nov 13 and asked for a relieving on 29 nov 13 the period that i am able to serve is only 22 days. bank has denied early relieving and asked me to work till 3 months i.e. 7 feb 13. please suggest me what further course of action should i take to resolve the matter with bank. if i do not join ntpc on 6 december 2013 the offer will stand lapsed. please reply soon. i am waiting. thanks & regards shivank arora Problem regarding the relieving letterDear all i am lavanya kumarmy query is i got offered in a reputed bank and they are asking for relieving letter. but my present employer is saying the relieving letter will be issued after 34 months.i have given the resignation letter to my manager. is there is any problem for joining in to the new organisation. i am in probation in the present employer and i am having all my pay slips and the appointment letter. can i explain the situation to the new employer and can ask for time to submit the relieving letter and can join immediately Doubt regards to relieving dateDear all plz help me in understanding the relieving date. i have resigned from a job in a reputed bank and as per approval my last working date will be 14sep2014 which is a sunday. so can i get relieved on saturday 13sep2014 or do i need to work one more day extra i.e. till monday 15sep2014. kindly help me. thanking you in advance. Relieving/experience letterHi all in my previous company i worked there for 2 years. we had a agreement there that "i will not get any relieving/ expereince letter if i left the job without completing 3 years from joining'. i just signed in the printout copy of the word document containg these conditions. i didn t sign any stamped bond paper. i left the job in 2 years and informed them and they said ok.i joined in my present company 2 years befor. in the present company i told about my situation they accepted with that previous company joining letter and salary slips. now i got a selected in a reputed mnc but they asking for relieving letter from that first company also. i clearly told them i have bank statements for 2 years from that company also those last 3 month payslip amd joining letter. but they not accepting those items only asking for relieving letter from previous company. i asked from my previous company they are not willing to give anything. at this point it seems its not possible to join any big companies without that relieving letter. anyone please suggest me what i suppose to do and how can i get the relieving order??? is any other option available?? thanks in advance rajesh Need to get relieving or service certificate without paying bond moneyHi all i am in a troubled situation and i need some help. i cleared ibps poiv and got allotted bank of india. currently i am working in infosys and have mentioned the same in the form. i have this bond service of one year as well i am in the probation period. the bond money may amount to ₹1.6 lakhs. my financial condition doesn t allow me to pay the sum and leave the company. also i wont be able to abscond as i need relieving letter or service certificate to show the bank while joining. is it possible to get a relieving letter or service certificate without paying the bond money? incase its not possible will termination certificate help me during my joining the bank. i mean will the bank accept the termination certificate? or is it possible to get relieving / service certi along with termination letter? i know its confusing even i am confused and don t know what to do kindly help me out. thank you.
