Dear friends,
CV for a group of freshers with similar tech/professional qualifications or students for on/off campus placement - should it be in a standardized format or should it be an individually customized doc and may vary from candidate to candidate?
I would request friends from the HR dept (as also others) to share their views.

IMHO, two sections
a) Standard Section
Where what is common amongst the group be presented...will make it easier for recruiters / systems to sort/rank/select etc.
AND
b) A "non standard" - unique section
Since NO individual is the same...an area where the individual may highlight his unique skills, aspirations, achievements and interests.
What is MOST important is that the Candidates should be able to " defend " their CVs well. Many, many are are the CVs I have seen claiming good " communication skills " but making elementary spelling mistakes in the CV itself... :-)
