Job resigned without serving notice period due to health problem. Doctor Advising bed rest and my family not willing me to work due to health problem thinking that health is important. but employer not accepting the resignation and saying your health medical report is normal and you discharged from hospital so you should back to office to work.
My family not allowing me to work anymore as I m suffering in pain lot and mental stress.
I am ready to pay 90 days notice pay even though they or not accepting my resignation.

what are your terms and conditions mentioned in your appointment letter. please only be guided by that. if you have already paid the notice period amount, you are not obliged to the Organization, however, please ensure you have valid documentation like Bank details etc to prove it.

offer letter mentionig 'Compulsary 90 Days notice period before resignation'. Im requesting company to accept the resignation and I d pay salary in lieu of the notice period . but they are accepting.

Dear Priya,
Please give more details about what you do and how long have you been employed and what's the nature of the health problem that requires bed rest. Has the doctor given that in writing or is it an oral advice?
On the one hand you say that family is not willing you to work, and on the other you say you are in pain and mental stress. Is the mental stress due to family not wanting you to work and the company asking you to work? If you family says go to work, can you go even though you may have some pain. I know of people who have gone to work with frozen shoulders and with severe pain in their shoulders, etc., after taking pain killers.

Dear [Recipients Name],
I am regrettably submitting this letter as a resignation from my position as the company Vice President for Communications which will take into effect on October 14, 2005. I am currently not in the best of health and I have been advised that I must rest full time in order to me to fully recover from my illness. My family and I have decided that this would be the best option for me since I am in a delicate situation. I am immensely thankful for everything the company has provided for me during my stay, and I will always be grateful for all the opportunities I was able to get because of my stay here.
