Dear All,
Please find attached revised minimum wage rates calculated for certain industries on the basis of revised rates of Special Allowance w.e.f. 01.07.2013.
Minimum wage rates for canteen & clubs, soaps & cosmetics are not calculated due to some ambiguities.

Dear All,
There is a note on the special allowance circular that the circular is available on website of mahashramm. However, the same is not available. This site of GOM is last updated in August 2012. The circular which was published in February 2013 is also not available on this site.

Dear Kaustav ji,
You are right. I also understood from the circular revising Sp.Allw. that the Govt. of Maharashtra have revised / refixed the basic rates of nine industries very recently. I have no details / notifications of it. I will upload the details / notifications as soon as I receive it. In the meantime, other members are requested to try for it from their sources and made available to this forum.

Hi, Good work for uploading gazettes.
I have a doubt, so someone please clarify it.
When monthly wage rate is notified then per day wage rate is arrived by dividing by 30. Similarly when daily wage rate is given, working days are taken as 26. Difference is that in monthly wage rate it is assumed that payment is on monthly basis for all 30 days therefore weekly off are included in calculation, whereas in daily wage rate, payment is not given for weekly off days.
Now this Maharashtra monthly wage rate is divided by 26 for arriving at daily wage rate, which according to me is not correct. It assumes that wage rate is for working days only. It should have been divided by 30.
Someone please clarify. Thanks.
