Law is more explicit and evident on those details, so no personal opinions are indeed necessary as they are standard legal practices....... for more details do refer the ministry/department of labour,.......... you will have access to the required information.....

I.D. Act mentions the formation of Grievance Redressal Committee and Works Committee. The purpose of both the committee is the same. Is it duplicacy or not or some specific functions of both.

Hai Joseph
Grievances redressal committee is necessary and workers committee too...
Workers Committee - its Creating good relationship between the Employee - Employers....
Grievance Committee -its to be solve the employees face the problems with in the org.
You have to conduct the meeting in monthly basis with two and maximum of 3 persons and should maintain the commitee records too... you should selected the person in workers Category only not in staffs ....

Is it permissible to keep same members (employee & employer) in both the committees.
What points should discuss & not to be discussed in the scheduled meeting of both the committees.
Because if checks on DOs & DONTs is not put ; both the committees will never achieve their purpose and almost every time representatives of employer will be at receiving end only.
