Dear Sonal OM,
Pl.go thro' the notes given under the links appearing on your screen. There are enough materials and information available in these links which will help you beginners like U. If you'll have any specific queries raise them here so that we'll be happy to answer them.

Dear All,
I think we should encourage her to go through the book, which she has intended rather than straightway asking her to put her query.Once she get herself acquainted, then she will be in a position to ask rational queries.
There many book companies in India,I find Factories Act,1948 written by Sh KD Srivastava (revised by PL Malik)published by M/s Eastern Book Company is good.Since your factory is based at Pune, do not forget to buy Maharashtra Factories Rules, which you have to refer often .You need to buy other books on labour laws, which are applicable to your factory.

As per my knowledge and experience with selected books are only for theoretical, if you really want to learn then you should learn with your experience, with additional research, additional discussion, advance search, cooperate with other department and imagine yourself for next position and prepared for that.

You should first go thro' the Act itself to know exactly what the law says w.r.t.Factories. Of course you will have queries which could be specific and those decided and clarified by various courts. Use the attached materials to learn something more about Factories.
