Dear Romy,

I would like to add one particular point. The Performance Improvement Plan is not meant only for low or non-performers. If you identify potential candidates and want to develop them, entrusting them with higher responsibilities, then a specific Individual Performance Plan is structured and implemented. In this process, evaluation is a major task. For evaluation, you need a team, specifically a cross-functional team comprising the immediate superior, Head of Department (HOD), HOD (internal customer), and HR (compulsory).

Timeliness is a major criterion in the evaluation process, recording, updating the individual/action plan, and reaching a conclusion.

Regards,
Kameswarao
