Dear Deepshikha,
May we kindly know in what type of industry do you work and what's your role? I raise this question, as the term "peon" seems outdated to me. It was a term used during and just after the British rule. I have not heard that designation in the UK in the last 45 years.
I checked the web for modern definitions of peon and found them at Peon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It means .."an office boy, an attendant, or an orderly, a person kept around for odd jobs ". Please let us know whether it is possible to do appraisal of any person without knowing the person's job description and duties performed?

Dear Simhan,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I am working in a small scale manufacturing company.
Currently our company has performance appraisal system for all employees.
But as i have discussed that for office helper staff we don't have defined KRA's because these people are used or multiple jobs.
Please guide me how I can do an effective performance appraisal of office helper staff???
& Peon Staff exactly means."an office boy, an attendant, or an orderly, a person kept around for odd jobs "
