Dear Reena
On behalf of CiteHR,com I welcome you to this largest network of HR professionals.
About your query, whether with your MBA degree from India, you would be able to get placed suitably in US, or you need to acquire further degrees/certifications; I am sure our members with expertise on the matter, would come up with their opinion/views shortly.
Warm regards.

dear sir,
Thanxs for ur reponse....
i have sm more quries ...
if i prefer to go for further studies which sub in Hr i should go for which is applicable/demanding in all industry?
which industry is gud to wrk for hr as per US ?
how to apply for jobs over here?
best Wishes.

Dear Reena

I appreciate your spirit of enquiry and prompt response/feedbacks.

I can only suggest my views on the first query in your second post, "... for further studies which sub in Hr i should go for which is applicable/demanding in all industry?".

See, all industries are run by human beings (as of now); and HR basically deals with humans - irrespective of the collar they wear (white or blue), the type of industry (IT, Banking & Financial services, manufacturing or Leisure & Hospitality)... etc. As such HR runs across all industries; although it may play a more crucial role in sectors which are manpower-intensive like Hospitality or ITES and the competitive advantage they have has more to do with their people than on financial capital, technology or any other factor.

Also, it is true that HR has evolved into several specializations, each crucial for a niche sector or at a particular stage in the life cycle of a company.

However, choosing a specialized stream, should be dictated not just by the demands of the industry; but more by personal choice, inclination, aptitude & interest'familiarity with the subject matter and mastery over it. In my view, it should be more of a personal choice rather than market-driven.

For the rest of your queries, I suggest you to wait a while; due to the Time difference between USA and India - where most of our active members reside.

Warm regards.
