Dear All,
I would like to ask that the retirement age for men /women in private sector is 58 yrs however this age is not applicable for people who work in govt sector or psu . Even teachers and professors `retirement age is 62 yrs for retirement by Indian Govt .So why people in private sector are deprived to retire at the age of 58 yrs??
Can anybody have the answer for this issue??

Dear Gauri,
Retirement age in the private companies is fixed as per company policies only. As fas as I know, in most companies retirement age is 60 years. There are companies where employees conitnue to work beyond the age of retirement also.
