My question is: If there is an increment of Rs.3000 for an employee effective from 1st April and if the increment is implemented in the june salary, 2 months arrears is to be paid.
Now if the employee has worked for only 15 days in the month of April with 15 days LOP, whether he should be paid Rs 3000 arrears for the month of April or Rs 1500? If yes Why, if no why?

Arrears shall be paid only for the number of days that the employee works. In this case Arrears shall be calculated only for 15 Days not for whole month. Already employee had received salary for just 15 days then how can he get arrears part as full?
One more thing is salary should be calculated for 26 days & not 30 days. I hope you get clarification on that too. Those 26 days is subtracting 4 Sundays.
