Hello Professional HR & Business Veterans,
Our company is required to get "Development of Productivity & Performance Benchmarks based on International Best Practices" through an independent agency.
1. What is the difference between Productivity & Performance Benchmarks?
2. Which are the International Best Practices?
3. Which are the agencies who have the expertise?
Regards,
JP

Dear Mr. JP,
Productivity & Performance are the terms employed as the stratergy behind the development in improving the determinent of success. Benchmarks are those said to guage future performance and relative effectiveness which are said to have standard setters.
Productivity is a workflow process that gives output qualitatively measured in terms of economy, profit and benefit. However, Performance is totally dependent on independent workforce measured quantitatively. Also, important part to know is Productivity is directly propotional to Performance where each person brings to the table a different knowledge of the process, as well as individual experiences that may be relevant.
Additionally, you may review the "Comparison International's" analysis on International Best Practices and their business on change agencies with case studies for your interest.

Thanks Ms. Das for the prompt clarification on the commonly used terminology. Can we have a repository of best practices? This will be very useful. Let everyone contribute. Thanks & Regards, JP

Could you explain what is the deference between productivity and performance? I would like to know whether there is slight deference between two said word.
