Hi Suman,
you should rather focus on the priority for you right now, switching to any educational institute is really not a bad idea as you can eveluate your things there as well, you can also give your contribution in "placement cell" of your college, this will keep you in touch with the corporate and the current trends, being an HR there is a big scope for you, through the Lectureship you will definately gain knowledge and after some years when you will again think to switch , you can implement your knowledge same there.
i would like to suggest you: (when you will join the institute)
- Be proactive for Placement cell for campus/OJT/SIP etc
- Organise workshops/seminars/other events in your college to keep a touch with the corporate
think positive...and join your new organisation with a clear mind, then only you can put your 100% there.
All the best

To gain more knowledge and give knowledge to others also.
Being in HR feild only you can work for some company, but being in lecturer profession, you can help many students to gain knowledge.

Hi Suman ,

i have read ur concerns and dilemma. Always remember 'LIFE IS NOT A STRAIGHT LINE". "A JUDICIOUS BALANCE IS ALWAYS PREFERRED OVER IMPERFACT BALANCE". U assess ur needs judiciously. our parents have always done their best for us and will continue to do so for each one of us.When we needed them most they were always on our side. Now it is our turn to pay back what they gave to us in our development and progress. This is human nature and none of us should defy Law of Nature. U should not spoil ur future just because u have to discharge responsibilities. That has to be done if u own the responsibility. Try to balance the situation- which one will be more beneficial for both. Pl. tell me if ur father is retired and where was his last posting? what are ur responsilities about which u are very much concerned? what are your strong points and dreams? Follow ur dreams too as far as u can. If u are strong then only u will be able to discharge ur responsibilities- always remember. So this point is quite important. Follow these small tips for taking a final decision on what u should do. God Bless You.

Dear Suman,
As you want to earn more money becoz of your personal problem, my suggession is that you should enhance your career in HR only as presently you are working as HR Executive and you wanted to be in industry only.
Lecturer will be a different field and there are now good openings with good pay packages in HR field.
I am not that senior to advice you but this is my opinion.
