I have an another view to about this problem, I am agree that the lunch time included in duty time
but when an employee went outside form the factory on Gate Pass
on then he is able to claim to the accident benefits

Hi Friends,
I think we all re right, but i woluld like to add few points more.
1 - Factory / Office must have the space/ canteen so that employee should not go outside to have lunch.
2 - In case compnay has the facality of canteen, where employee can have luch, even though employee go ouside to have lunch with gate plz must write the purpose as Luch, then i think compnay is not reponsible in such case.

yup the lunch time is considered to be part of duty time bt it now going outside during the lunch time depends upon the content of the work...whether the employee is going outside the company for his own work or for compnay's work ... if the employee is outside the company for official work and unfortunately gets injured then the company is liable to pay bt not then company may share then could deduct from his / her salary.........
bt the major portion of payments depends upon the policies of the company........
