I am a HR professional with 7+ years of experience and as I was suffering from allergic brochites and skin aller gy I have taken a break to get treated, since now I am look out for job again and as I have taken 1.6 yrs break I usually get response from job consultants that this gap is a major concern for companies to recruit me.
Please do advise me as to how I have to get a job now if everyone considers this gap as a major issue.

Hello Madhavbr14,
I don't think you need to worry at all.
You seem to be an old member of CiteHR & I am sure you would have seen many Postings/threads from Lady HR professionals who took breaks of years [for kids' sake] & still managed to rejoin jobs.
The only difference between you & them is the REASON for the gap.
As long as you are able to AUTHENTICATE THE GAP [thru Medical Certificates], it shouldn't be a problem. The only aspect COULD be this: it could take a bit more time for you to get a job than it would for others who currently working.
Pl ensure you mention 'Medical Reasons' for the gap in your resume--pl DON'T leave this gap unsaid/unexplained--the Recruiter will then make his/her own assumptions, which may not be to your advantage. You can explain the complete reason(s) during the Interviews. Hope you get the point.
All the Best,
Rgds,
TS

In addition to what Satheesh and Ashok have suggested, please keep a certification of fitness handy, in case the hiring team wishes to see it .
Offer every support from your side and the medical authorities who treated you, to establish you are fit to make a great start.
Wish you all the best. Do share your success story with us
