Greetings,
I am doing internship in an IT allied company.I want to do my research on HRIS.
So could you suggest some topics which i could use as a project and be implemented in organization
Also could you suggest some topic related to HRIS to do research,and what could be done as a research in HRIS

Hi,

First of all i would like to appreciate you for choosing HRIS as your Interest area for your project work. Its always desirable by the students to get complete knowledge about the choosen subject but since HRIS itself is a vast subject you may be feel to have very short time to understand it as whole.

I suggest you to start with understanding how the information flow happens in HRIS from one module to other and then choose one HR function of your interest to learn the features of that function thoroughly within HRIS module. Also it is important to understand which database is to best suited based on employee strength and HR operations within company.

You should also gain insight on challenges you will face to develop and implement the HRIS depends on nature of work of the company. The intensity of challenges will varies from manufacturing to services industry because the adaptability of changes is different in different industries.

I believe using Flow Charts to understand and explains the whole pictures helps you more and gives you broader scope to learn. All the best.
