Dear all, I have been working in the field of sales for 3 years and want to shift my complete career to SAP HR, I have done MBA in mktg and hr, So pls let me know whether my decision is correct, give your suggestions..thank u

My Suggestion would always be go according to your Will not according to Skill.. If you have Skill and not having Will then there is no use continuing the same.

Dear Sushruth
I believe you have invested three years in sales, may be for whatever reasons but that is the experience that you have as of now.
Switching a job or an industry is never a difficult thing, but definitely like said you should be willing to go ahead with the same with full passion and dedication.
As sales is a dynamic job, HR MIS on a contrarily would be more of a monotonous job.
If you are driven by passion and not higher pay pack then certainly you can try the option out.

HELLO @ Mr. Kumar,
As you have mentioned in your post that you want to switch your Sales Career into HR, The question that comes in my mind Why???
Since you have the experience of 3 years in the Sales...n that counts a lot..in all the aspects whether it comes on salary or Career growth both.
As far you have a degree in HR as well, to start a Career that will only count Fresher.. with the offer @ low wages. n no experience.
Then why one should switch?
I do understand that sales is a highly challenging Job profile...Work pressure are there but you can't ran it across,If you are not satisfied with your current concern company you do have the option to switch to the other company in the same profile with the higher Salary packages n in position too, because you have the experience neither you are a fresher.
Think on IT!!!!

Thanks for ur suggestion, first of all my 3 yrs work exp doesn't count at all bcoz I have changed many companies, no consistency was there as they say 'Rolling stone gathers no mass', and moreover i hav interest in HR also and am not concerned about the salary, eventually it will come again after gaining much experience in HR.

gud question, I have answers for them, first and the foremost thing is that I do have interest in HR job, secondary is my comm skills are very gud. apart from this having experience in hardcore sales I can say that sales is very tedious job, have to travel a lot, due to this I have got many critical ailments, I have been suffering from sinusitis (related to ear nose throat) and whenever I travel extensively I will face problems due to this, So want to become health conscious. Still if u have any questions or suggestions u r welcome deepak. thank u

Hi For SAP HR certification from approved institute, you should have 3 years domain i.e. HR experience first
So please look if any institute (approved) relax the norm otherwise gain experience in HR first
