Whether accident on the way from office to home is considered as accident on duty
I left office at the same time when i leave office . i met with accident on 12/11/2010 on my way from office to home near my ofice say within one km . i am working for bank . is there any provision in any law where accident on the way from office to home is considered as accident on duty. i am on leave for last 5 months. please advise me if you know anything in the matter. i also request you to tell me whether i can get any guidance from any source / forum .

Hi.. everyone i m new comer in this field in this month i have join one car showroom there is 150 employees now i ve to do all basic thing in office like office time leave late coming penalty etc etc. kindly help me that how to format this sop in simple way.
Excellent employee- not following rules- what should be done
I am a sales director w/ an office of 5 managers and 3 admin. assistants. my #2 managerone of my very top employees asks for vacation time 2 weeks prior to wanting offpolicy is 30 days. there are already people off that week in the office and if allowed this person to get off it will leave only 2 managers in the office when there are normally 6 people. i suggested to that person to change their dates because you cannot allow for the lack of office coverage. that employee says "it doesn t matter what you say i m going" she has been a great employee that goes above and beyond. i ve allowed her as much as a month of vacation at one time because she s from out of the country and has little time to get back to her family and paid her for it because of the amount of extra time she spends on the job. however everyone in the office is almost or just as good. allowing her to get away with this will make the others think they can act the same way. it s just not fair should she be terminated? this would be a huge hardship if she s gone.
Sanction of earned leave
Hi i am working for a ltd finance company for the last 15 yrs. now i have applied for earned leave for 5 months for travelling abroad. though the hr dept at corporate office will have no issues in sanctioning the same the sanctioning authority first has to be my immediate boss. she has refused to do this citing 5 months is a long time to be on a holiday. for her leave is not a matter of right and work will suffer and the corporate office will give no temporary staff for replacement. now just coz work will suffer at local office level can i be denied my hard earned leave? how do i go about getting the leave sanctioned? i have applied for the leave well in advance giving the requisite period notice. only 5 days of the leave notice period are remaining. kindly advise as i have already booked and paid for the tickets to travel abroad.pls note no change in thetravel itenirary can be effected. deeply anquished.

Is it ok to grant casual leave when an employee\'s annual leave has not been utilized? the policy in my office is that casual leave is a privilege and not a right whereas annual leave is a right. employees in my office want to take casual leave when the annual leave has not been utilised. i am in hr here and know that they should utilise annual leave first.
