Termination of permaent worker
Hello seniors i would like to discusses one issue.we will going to terminate one permanent worker as he fight with another worker inside the factory premises. first of all we had got a written complaint against him the another worker with whom he fight. immediately we had taken action and issue show cause notice to that worker. he had given his written ans to us but in the meanwhile we had taken some statements from the witness and check his background related to this issue. we are also having cctv footage of this incident with us. from last sum days we had suspend that worker. but after all this enquiry evidence if we terminate that worker then is the right procedure that we had followed? will he change our decision in the labour court?do we need to pay any compensation to him if he do so? regards madhura parab
Permanent worker absent for 17 month and no response to our letters
Dear fellow members my organization is stuck in a peculiar situation. one permanent worker has been absent since oct 2020. initially he stated that he has a medical issue and used to contact hr regularly with his health updates and medical reports. however over the last 8 months or so he has stopped contacting hr and also stopped picking up our calls. we have sent him 3 letters by registered post ad asking him to report to work. while all three letters have been received we have the acknowledgement cards he has neither responded to any nor reported back to work. i know we have erred in handling this case; but my question is what can we now do about him? can he be terminated as absconder? what more need to be done by us to have him struck off our rolls? please advice. regards arun
Un-acceptable demand by male worker to female worker..
Hi everyone i am working as a personnel officer in one of the pharmaceutical companynow days i stuck with one issue related to workers. one male worker harassing one female workershe complained it to plant manager but he did not take action in a proper way now before few days this matter came to me and i wanted to give written notice to that male worker but plant manager not giving support to me and blamming that i am interfering in his matter. but i think it is not a normal issue. what can i do please suggest me. regards tejas

Can emails replace letters legally?
Dear all as you are aware hr dept needs to issue many letters as warning letters performnace improvement letters etc. most of teh time we tend to communicate these info even through email. i would like to know if these emails can be considered as letters according to the law. law requires 23 written warnings before termination. will they consider email notification as written warnings? regards latha
