I just wanted to know the benefits of Nebosh International Diploma for Indian professionals. Is this a statutory requirement for any foreign countries like we have for PDIS in India? I have completed PDIS and am now looking for some international program. Is it worth going for this one and what is the procedure/fee, etc.

Thanks for your response. I have checked the link you provided, but my concern was a little different. I just wanted to understand the following:
1. Importance of Nebsoh International Diploma, not international certificate.
2. Is that a mandatory requirement/eligibility for any of the foreign countries?
3. Job prospects for Indian safety professionals in other countries, like in the UK.
I have posted this topic here to gather the best information available from all experienced professionals.

This deals with how the HSE system should be managed and implemented. However, it is not legally recognized in India. Some companies do accept it based on the fact that it is a certification program awarded from the UK; otherwise, it does not hold weight.
One of the benefits that this certification brings along is the fact that it is highly regarded for overseas jobs; however, its recognition in India is limited. The fundamentals of its teachings are more or less similar to what we learn in India, but the approach is more practical.
In my personal opinion, it is not merely holding an advanced certificate that drives the improvement of your implementation skills, but rather the interest you have in comprehending the issue at hand and devising a logical approach to solve it without incurring significant losses.
