We have been trained to play games since our birth. As we grow up, we remain focussed in our lives and loose out in the play.

If anyone of us have been to any brain training exercises , we must have found a zillion ways to play.

Few common ones are training yourself to see what is not. Suppose you are travelling for long hours and need to sit in one place. You mind will wander. Mostly to your worries. Here's what you can try next time, look at signs and pictures around you and imagine seeing them through different dimensions. Project a 3D image to a picture, on the wall. You can step up this game, depending on how far would you want to take it and handle the complexity, with it.

If you are trying this for the first time, request you to either find a facilitator or read enough about it.

The simplest of the ones, includes taking mental inventory count from time to time. Or even mind mapping thoughts back wards. This helps in identifying and observing the number of thoughts, you had.

These techniques are great in breaking the thought pattern and helps creative thinking. This is not hallucination or even lucid dreaming.

If you are aware of such practices , please consider sharing.
