Labour laws - is not there any law/rule for existing contract labour compensation on termination?
Sir if contract labour is engaged in a psu company for more than 5 years. now a new contractor has been appointed and he wants to terminate the existing labours and put in his own persons. is not there any law/rule regarding their compensation on termination? it is so easy for a contractor to terminate an existing contract labour who has been working for years.

Hi please help us we our now looking for a sample of notice of end of contract. he is a probationary employee whose contract will expire on may 15 2012 we the hr team received a verbal notice from his superior that his contract will be end by may 15 2012. this is the first time that our company will have to end a contract of an employee that is why we do not have any existing template for notice of end of contract.
Wrongful/ forceful resignation from company
I am looking for advice regarding wrongful/ forceful termination of my employment and pursuant harassment from my company. around two months ago i was asked by the hr officer of my mumbai manager to put in my resignation. the reason given was that i had mismanaged the store inventory. i offered them evidence to prove that the investigation done by them was wrong as a result of the audit team s mistakes. i shared all the evidence with the hr manager. they ignored my submissions and asked me to still give in my resignation. they did not offer any further clarifications or explanations and asked me to start looking for new jobs. i have worked for this company for 10 years and shown good performance. despite this after resignation the company is asking me to pay compensation amount of rs. 200000/ lieu or notice period. they are withholding my clearance unless i pay the said amount. no amount of following up has shown any results. please suggest what recourse is available to me in such circumstances.
