Dear Sir
After two years of tussle I am forced to sign the contract with the organization in which I worked for last 11 years. Golden years of my life I spent working really hard for my organization and I am being punished in-place of getting reward and pat on my back.
Dear sir I was literally scolded by my MD that if i don't sign the contract i will be thrown out of my job as well as my husband(who is working in the same department) will also have to face the consequences. helpless i have to agree for the contract. My only demand from my management was i wanted my services to be extended till further order like the other employees are getting who so ever joined the organization in the same year in which i did.

I just want to know that in case I sign the contract will there be any loss to me? the length of service that i have worked for the department will it be considered break and start of new Service or will it continue and add to the lenght of the service.
Should I sighn the contract or not?
can my department force me to sign the contract.
I am not asking my department to regularise me. but I want uninterrupted salary every month what ever I am getting.
Presently I am getting about 12500/- gross salary plus EPF 12%

It depends on what clauses are covered under your contract or agreement.
Just to share the knowledge that a company constantly changes and amends its rules and policies.
Now say if the company is introducing service agreements or some form of contracts, it would be required that even the existing workers are covered under the revised policy.
Perhaps, that is the reason why they might have asked you to sign.
They might not be clear in the communication to you regarding the same or perhaps they think that being an employee you are duty bound to obey them and they do not need to explain you all the minutes.
Anyway. in order to answer your query, kindly elaborate on -
1. What is the clause of the contract / agreement
2. Is it applicable to all employees in the firm or in a particular department.
