Dear Sundararaman,
Thanks for updating the members. Many of states have already created Industrial Safety and Health as separate wing to take care of Building & Other Construction Workers (Regulations & Abolition) Act,1996 and Rules made thereunder.I believe that this will be more meaningful and shall be beneficial to the Construction workers,who are still falls in the category of unorganized and exploited class.
