Hello Heta Patel
Your point is well made.
People show reluctance to take up survey.
While it is a good idea to be voluntary there has to be an indirect pressure
.
After issuing a call you would normally get a response.
Say about 60 % respond.
Congratulate those who participated ( without mentioning names)
and conduct a second programme after a few days.
By this time a majority would have responded.
After couple of days call one final round to get the maximum/ 100%.

When ever carrying out survey please do not ask for the names . You will get better and true feedback. RKM

Dear Heta Patel,
Congratulation for this initiative . I thank our experts and leaders for contributing such brilliant techniques. Here's my question to you. Suppose you find a long survey questionnaire at the end of your work day. You know your response can bring in a change to your organisation. Yes, your response is valued, which is why the form have been given to you. However, what are the top three triggers that you will have in your mind, for skipping the action or giving half-hearted response?
I suggest you ask this to every one , while promoting employee's buy-in to this initiative. Wish you all the best !

Congrats for the initiative. For a employee survey to be successful, maintenance of confidentiality is most important, so that employees feel comfortable to take up the survey. Hence not only ensure confidentiality but also communicate the same (i.e. how confidentiality is maintained) to all the employees.

One way to ensure that it is done by all employees is to invite them to the boss's chamber (allow them to take it confidentially). This way they will not carry work with them. You may invite them in small numbers and sit back to offer clarification on any points , if requested by any. At the end, thank them with a chocolate and send them a thank you mail without fail. If the manager/boss can be a part of the thanking process, even better. Once, all of them have taken the survey, post striking results as a poster in strategic locations. This can be made interesting by using emoticons, catchy phrases, visual aids such as charts and graphs (as encouraging results are revealed). It will offer a chance to the employees to understand how they have been able to contribute.
