Hi All,
I hope many of you are experienced here, so that you can answer and give me hint for my interview.
I am an MBA - HR Final year student now. I have been to several interviews and been asked these 2 question frequently. Though knew several answers, but want an comprehensive answer which will be a complete one.
Here is the question,
1. "What is/are the difference(s) between IT and Non IT recruitment"?
2. "How is the HR function different in IT and in a Non IT firm"?
Help me as soon as possible...
Regards,
Siva Priya S

Dear Siva Priya

Before your query is answered; I would like to know from you, what have been your answers ??

The questions are simple; what matters is how you have conveyed your response.

Please remember, during interview; which is basically an ASSESSMENT of suitability of a candidate; it does not matter, if the candidate know the answers to every question or not.

More than the exact answers, what matters more is : HOW are they being conveyed.

In fact, even accepting one's ignorance gracefully, is also not considered bad.

Hope, I am able to convey what I meant.

To illustrate further, let me take an example from your own post; about the "HOW" part. You have written :

"I hope many of you are experienced here, so that you can answer and give me hint for my interview."

What does this sentence convey about you;. to a person who does not know you ???

It sounds as if you are throwing up a question as a challenge !!

"I hope many of you are experienced here ...." implies as if you do not REALLY BELIEVE that many here have experience; but you would LIKE or HOPE that they have do indeed have some experience !!!

I do understand that it is not your intention; but that is HOW IT COMES ACROSS.

Please, come up with your answers, which you had expressed during the interview.

I assure you, you shall get the right advice or suggestion.

Warm regards.

Yes. You are right. The way the answer is conveyed has more importance that expressing the right answer. But still since you are a fresher you can tell your own ideas about the question which sometimes works
