Respected seniors...
My name is J.Raju.I am working for organisation which is basically deals with agro products.This organisation is belongs to a group of companies.All the companies are working in the same office building.And the management and directors for all the company are same person.The company wants to hire some operation staff who will work for all the companies.
So my question is that the offer letters and the appointment letters will be issue under which head name..? Can we issue letters under the head group of companies?

Dear, You can issue letter on letter head of any of the group companies. just mention in job profile that the person needs to work for all other group of companies(names if companies.)

You can issue appointment letter under head group of companies.
But do mention that employee has to work for all the companies (Mention company names), so as to avoid any future claim from emplyees.

Our orgnisation name is Amox agro india pvt lt.It is belongs to amox group.As per yours saying we can issue appointment letters in a letter pad which is heading as Amox group.

First, could you please share something about you and your experience? What about your appointment latter and information was containing in this regard? You can go through your own appointment letter for reference and further actions too.

Also, please let us know how many companies comes under this group (Say in numbers) and if the functional body and operations are same or like you said above that Management/Directors are same, they, maybe having departments (By Category/product) located at different floors in a building but are a part of a company which is possible.

I feel you just have joined them and maybe there is something you are still not aware of it. Please correct me if I am wrong.

And in answer to your query, yes, you certainly can go with a latter head of “Amex Group” which evidently says about your all companies and hope that latter head containing information about all companies (Name and Address at Bottom or Top) so that employee can get the recognition of company where he/she going to work with.

For example : If two companies “Arora & Arora Sons” and “Arora & Arora Associates” comes under “ARORA & GROUP OF COMPANIES” and employee going to appoint with “Arora & Arora Sons”, can have the recognition and realization of an employment with an Group of Companies. There is no confusion about it.

Dear Sir..
thanks for replying.As your asking about me,I am working with this company for last one year.At the time of my joining it was only one organisation.But after that it became group of companies. Now three companies coming under this group.As previously said the directors are same for all the three organisation.All the companies are working in same building in a same floor.
Now please advice me what to do..?

Hai it is a common querry,
any letter issued from the side of the company should have a domain name of the company and the person concerned. but in the case of you, mention a name of the person who represent the whole group of directors.

It's not important on which letter head the appointment letter is issued as I feel all the letter heads must be having information like ( ABC GROUP OF COMPANIES) below Company's name.
Only important point is you have to issue the appointment letter on the letter head of Company from which you are going to pay the wages etc.Because to maintain proper financial accounts this is required as the expanses incurred on Employee of other Company may not be appreciated by Auditors or IT department.
Second point raised by you is on job profile of Employee so you can take care by mentioning in Job responsibilities that the employee will be responsible for taking care of the ( Marketing / HR or what ever specified Job h is appointed) of the group companies. This is a normal practice and there is nothing big in this.
