I have joined as HR Executive in a reputed firm few months back. I have taken signature on employment bond of one of the employees appointed in International Business department who was suppose to travel abroad many times. The bond was for Three years and on breaching the bond the employee has to pay Rs. 2 Lac. If the company terminates him on grounds of fraud or for any other reasons, then too he would have to pay the money.

Now from my internal sources, I have got the information that he is searching a job else where and may leave the company or may behave in such a fashion that company has to terminate him.

On knowing this, I have checked his bond papers and I have realised that he has signed only on the last page of the 3 paged agreement and I have not made the agreement on any stamp paper or done frankling before the employee signed it. Also the witnesses have not signed at the time, when the employee signed the agreement.

I want to know whether this bond would be legally valid and suppose I take the print of the first page of the bond on back dated stamp paper then would it be valid as it is not signed on all pages by the employee.
