The work environment should be a reflection of not only the company's brand but also it's values. If collaboration, openness and fun are attributes to your company does the work space reflect it? Do you have cubes and doors or do you have an open floor plan? Does it look like a government office complex with grey walls, cubes and beige paint or does it reflect your companies brand. Are there quiet spaces to work as well as spaces to get together and celebrate and work as a group? If you are asking your employees to generate ideas and innovate, what is around to inspire them? Do you name your conference rooms Conference Room A or do you call it Inspiration Lounge or the SHhhh room? If you value flex time do your employees have the technology that allows them to work anywhere, including home?
