In Our Company Premises 60 Meter Height Furnace Stack. we required to install Lightning Arrestor on it.and Ladder with guardrail attached with it. so please Guide me and send Safety Precaution and checklist for the same.
Lightning Arrestor Weight approximately 8 KGs.
this is so risky job and the ladder was 20 years old.

You clearly addressed that ''Ladder was 20 years old''. Please make sure check with Mechanical / Structural Engg prior to start work.
Lighting Arrestor its only 8 kg i don't think its not a big issue to install.
Do RA/JSA for the activity share with us and we will guide/advice you to done the work safely.
