If in offer letter of an employee stated total salary during the probation period is 1.68 PA, whereas the probation period is of 6 months. According to which an employee should receive Rs. 14000/- per month but receives only Rs.13000/- per month. Company has not mentioned whether the CTC period is of 12 months or 14 months. What amount an employee should get paid by the company? And what if the management is not giving bifurcation for the deduction?

Dear Rachana,
CTC comprises of various salary components like, BASIC, HRA, LTA, Medical allowances, PF, ESIC etc.
Now, if the CTC is Rs. 168000/ annum, you have calculated the expected salary as 168000/12= 14000, right?? Which is incorrect, as there are different deductions in the CTC, like PF will be deducted, ESIC contribution etc.
You have to take the salary breakup and deductions details from the employer for better understanding of CTC and take home net salary.
