I worked in two different organizations. I have also offer letter and releaving letters also. Upto this ok. Later I have joined one of reputed MNC and to my bad luck I worked for 1 month there. Then after, I was hosptalized and got liver surgery. Doctor adviced to take complete bed rest for 3 months. Intialy company game me a long leave, but due to my sickness I was not joined the given date y organization. The result was I lost job. Now I got another company. But, as I don't have releaving letter from last company, I didn't kept in resume as well as in interview also. Does it effects in my career if it was registerd in NASSCOM

Your concern and the situation that you going through are acceptable but I would like to know whether you resigned from the post or not? Have you ever tried inform your employer when you realize that you are not able to join them back or due to your sickness and bad health or later when you recovered?

If yes, I request you to share something about this conversation or if not, What you did so far to tackle your problem?

Also, could you share your qualification and experience with us?

You were not well/was bedridden, maybe for few weeks/month but hope there was nothing like that you was not able to make even a single phone call to your employer to inform about your bad health.

Also to let you know something about the procedure of recruitment and employee data management of NASSCOM (NASSCOM is not just a company from an Industry but a group of companies where employee data and history can easily be available from one to another company for many professional purpose) where Employees/ candidates personal and professional (employment details) information and history can be shared with group companies on professional terms, and for background check/verification of employment that can really bother you and your career, do you know anything about it?

If you didnt know about it than you must be aware of these facts and procedure that NASSCOM are following. You said that you dont have any relieving letter from your last companies so did you get any Termination letter/Absconded or Warning Latter?

However the best solution i can suggest you is that you must resign from the position If you have not resigned yet and that you can do by email. Also can send a hard copy of resignation duly signed by stating your bad health and medicinal history. Further you need to speak to your employer and apologies for this mistakes and believe me this is gonna be a big and best thing that can help you in future in many good ways.

"A good apology has three parts: 1. Iím sorry, 2. Itís my fault, 3. What can I do to make it right?" and these three steps now you have to take so that your past never bother you in your future with personal or professional life.

Hope you got an idea for your further action that you have to take or got the problems you may face
