If you are a State Government employee EPF will not be applicable for you. You may be contributing to some other provident fund maintained by the Accountant General of the concerned State.

Dear Sir, The employee, who joins the Central Government or State Government after year 2004, covers under EPF/CPF scheme. As my joining year is 2011, so I am part of EPF scheme.

Employees who join after 2004 are covered under the NPS not EPF. Please check up.

I donot think that it is compulsory to have a subaccount in another EPF office. Anyway, please make the complaint to the RPFC/Chennai without wasting anymore time. They are usually very prompt and responsive.
