Gratuity calculation if employee retired from job at the age of 63 years instead of 58 years
Dear sir /madam suppose a person retired from his job at the retained age of 63 years instead of 58 years . then such condition the employer liable to pay gratuity to employee as his/ her last salary drawn at the age of 63 years / 58 years and accordingly number of service years counts as per his / her age of 63 years / 58 years. suppose at the age of 58 years last salary drawn rs 5800 and number of year service is 12 years . suppose at the age of 63 years last salary drawn rs 7375 and number of year service is 17 years . pl. advice me . regards 9158009792

Dear seniors the retirement age for an employee in our company is 58 years. two of our employees will attain 58 years next year as per company policy a person retires at the age of 58 years & we have to prepare his settlement & close his account. can i reappoint a retired employee on regular rolls for full time.

Dear seniors i would required your advice on the subject mentioned. we want to keep our employees after 58 years of age also but after age of 58 years there are few benefits which they will not get. so we would like to know that do s & dont s of the same. regards amit acharya

Please through some light on the above subject relevant to state govt. laws.since most of the firm while issuing employment letter they put \'on attainment of 58 years of age you will be retiring from services\' if the clarification is given it will be useful to all my senior employees of the firm.
