Employees leaving without submitting resignation
Hi i would like to understand the main reasons why any employee would leave without submitting his resignation? what are the consequences of this type of an exit for the company and what can the hr deptt do to reduce such absconding exit cases employees leaving without submitting resignation?
Refusing resignation and notice period - i have to find a replacement before i go
I wish to leave a company due to my personal reasons i have sent a resignation letter to my manager keeping the main hr head and the md in the copy. but my manager refuses to accept my resignation stating that i have to find a replacement before i go and before she wouldn t accept the resignation. i had mentioned the reason for my leaving along with the last working date as well. yet they refuse to accept the resignation.
Disclosure of employee's resignation and unwanted nosiness about it
Hi all i have query about the resignation. one of my colleague has resigned from her present position and had informed her hr and immediate manager about it. now what has happened is everybody in her vicinity has known about it and is asking for the reason of her leaving. this has made her very upset and has come back to me asking whether is it fair on the part of hr to disclose the news of employees resignation. she have her own reason of resigning from the present position personal or professional but it is her wish to discuss or not. i am being the part of hr she has come to me asking whether she is complain about the hr or head about this incident. being hr even i am not sure whether if there is anything like that to be complained about. kindly suggest.
Termination / resignation..kindly clarify
Resignation or termination kindly clarify dear all one of my friend was called in by the senior management and told that they did not wish him to continue and that he should give the resignation letter. while applying for new jobs should he talk about this as termination / firing resignation or leaving by mutual agreement ? he is very worried on this count and knows that any lies that he may tell maybe detrimental in the future. please do help by giving clarifications. thanks and regards mitra
Resignation letter not accepting
Hi i am jyoti. from past 6 months i am working with a consultancy as a it recruiter. today15th feb 2012 i resigned from my post as i got a better opportunity from a recruitment company. but my hr is not accepting my resignation letter because as per their company policy for me its a consultancy i have to give 1 month notice period before leaving but i gave two weeks notice period. they didn t told me anything about these leaving norms at the time of joining. even i didn t get my appointment letter also. they told that they will provide my offer letter after 3 months of probation period but its almost 6 months over. my new company is ready to accept me with joining letter and experienced letter. after my resignation my leaders behavior is totally changed they are not giving any new requirement to me and they are behaving rudely to me. please help me...
Counting of notice period days in case of resignation
Dear seniors at times of leaving organisation an employee has to serve the notice period. my question is in general from when this period starts or calculated. is it from the date of acceptance of resignation or from the date of resignation the day employee writes and submit his/her resignation. please throw some light on it. thanks & regards n
