Greetings for the day
One of your employee is working for the past four years, She has gone for maternity leave on last january 2012. she got delivered in the month February 2012 in a Govt Hosipital............... due to some health problems She could not join in time.she has re joined j in the company in the month of Dec-12.........
Now whether she can apply leave Encashment or any Reimbursements under esic. is there any procedure .........please do the needful

Dear Ravi
As per the Maternity benefit act 84 days leave can be taken, after that for the next 15 days can be taken ML with Doctor certificate after that also as per the health conditions and advise by Government doctor she can be eligible for the rest of the months also. Here is the main problem comes that ESI reimbrusement is applicable for 1/4 th salary only.
