We are working in a corporate office and there timing punctuality is always high. Here we have lunch, tea, coffee timing as per prior fixed schedule.
As an office and general admin I have look from all the points and I have observed that some of employee having snacks, breakfast, light meals while in office hours I think this habit can irrupted others as well!
Please suggest is there any office administration law that we can ask those employee to do not continue this habit any more!

It's finicky pattern followed by employees in all means these days. Snacking at work is wrongly thought that would make the work easier but not!! What's more, there are certain strategies that should be followed in order to avoid workplace divergence.
- You may circulate an inter office communication informing triggers caused in workforce productivity and moreover concerning to the health of employee.
- A short meeting can be scheduled to comphrehend the factuals and spread consiousness to keep their hands busy at work.
- You can also keep a note at every workstation - "Stay hydrated throughout the day" -- Water being a best opt or tea or any other no or low calorie beverage.
- Best phrase on a sticky note is -- "Snacking will make you OBES". This would decrease the intensity of the hogging.
- Too many snacks with overeating makes a health-loss. Therefore, provide them with healthy snacks yet tastier as they can be as much delighted.

Adminstration has gone loose.People will understand the value of work only when they are made to realise the same..
Employees must be taken into confidence and made aware of company policies and rules thru various means of communication.

When there is a scheduled lunch hour at your work place,employees in general must avail their lunch during lunch hours.However, it may so happen more so in metros/ major cities where commuting is an issue that one or two employees for certain compulsive reasons like domestic commitments, might have reported for work without break fast or proper break -fast and they may intend to avial their lunch little early. After all, an employee with hungry stomach, cannot too focus on his/her work. The management shall not take offensive to such employees or too fussy about them.However, they can be asked to avail their snacks/lunch in the lunch room,if any.But it shall not be a general phenemenon in the office that every one opens his/her lunch box at any time and start munching, provoking the taste in others more for food and for work. In such a case, you need to circualte a memo among employees requesting them to avail their lunch during lunch hour only and those who want to avail their lunch early for any compulsive reason , they can do so in the lunch room and they cannot again avail their lunch hour at the scheduled lunch hou.Please ensure that the language of the memo shall not leave any bad taste in the mouth of the employees. It shall be polite.
