Salary hike after job switch
Hello all i am an it engineer working in branded company from past 7 months.my total exp. is now 3 years and my present ctc is 5.55 l/annum due to bad work culture and too much politics i am not able to work to the best of abilities and would like to switch to company with long term career plans. i am not a regular job hopper.this is my 2nd organization in my career so far and i worked for 2.4 years for previous organization. so considering this what salary hike can i expect. how much salary hike should i ask as i have no intention to switch in near future.i am looking for a stable career. awaiting for your reply. regards.
Are incentives a part of ctc?
Hi guys... i work for a software co as bd. people in sales have incentives based on performances. are incentives part of ctc? i have recd an offer from a company where they have given some hike in my fixed ctc.. but most of the hike is given as incentives.. the offer states.. fixed pay .. say 200000.00 incentives...say 100000.00 total 200000.00 incentives are paid on achivement of targets... they only give the total figure as fixed pay .. looking at this i have a doubt if incentives part of ctc?

Salary increment
Dear friends im an automation engineer with 7years of rich experience recently i attended a interview with a big mnc and cleared all the rounds. during the negotiation i asked for 50 increase in the current ctc. but the hr people are telling that industry standard is 30 hike only. so we can give 30 hike on your current ctc. my query in this is for a person of 7yrs experience also they are giving 30 hike and a person of 2yrs experience also they are giving 30 hike only. is this a justified hike?? i dont know whether the fault is mine. please help me to understand whether my views are correct or not? thank you in advance.
Need clarification in appraisal
Hi everybody i wanna know about the hike or structure of appraisal process.i will give a scenario to make it easy to understand: an employee is working for more than 2 years and performance is also rated good say he is getting ctc 2.4 lak . in this case what hike should we give? if the same employee performance is average what shld be hike given? please explain me the current trend wht industry is following. i wanna know about wht role performance bonus & ctc or basic salary will play in appriasal or hike? thanks in advance hari prasad.
