Dear Professionals,
One of our employee is absconding. He use to work on project site (he is not labour/worker). When contacted his family we came to know that he leaves from house saying he is going to office but he doesnt report to office or to site.
Please let me know what has to be done. I am preparing warning letter to him. Kindly help with some draft for the same. Also let me know is sending 3 warning letters mandatory?
Warm regards,

Absconding by an employee is treated to be misconduct and proper inquiry has to be conducted and punishment imposed vide M/s Economic Transport v Dharmendra, decided by Delhi High Court in 2014.
Lodge FIR to recover Laptop because you had entrusted property to him and failure to return is offence under section 406 IPC.
Thanks
Sushil
