Hello Sudipta,
A lot would depend on WHAT criminal offence are you booked for, since the word 'criminal' deals with a wide range of offences--from petty ones to murder.
If you can mention some details, TO THE EXTENT YOU CAN [I know it could be tough], on this forum, the members can suggest the best way out.
But, in-principle, it's always better to mention such aspects/issues during the interview itself.

If your case have been registered with the local Police Station , it might affect, if the background verification includes police enquiry . However , as Sateesh have mentioned it depends on the level of case booked .

I know a recruitment head had a credit card case filed against him at the court. It didn't stop him from changing jobs or finding a better role. A friend who had a road accident , hit-and-run case filed on him, did find it difficult to find a job. The concerned person during the accident, had died on the spot, amounting to culpable homicide for him. However, an employee who had a similar hit-and-run case , during his employment with us at the client site, did continue to work with us . His driving license was withheld by police and had to attend the court sessions .

A friend whose wife had died leaving a note on his name , did go to the jail for a while. However,years later, he is still working with a Steel major.

Since 2008 many home loan bad-debt cases were booked, yet the people connected to them are into full time employment . Criminal cases have different levels including forgery , misappropriation of the company funds or any death involved. A hiring decision will depend on it , if only its either directly related to the delivery of duties or a non-adherence to the laws of the land.
they complaint that I took some of the documents from the company .
But I did not get any police call as per one FIR made there should be one police call or notice came on the address
but I did not get any such but my recent company tcs told me that they lodge a complaint and also case is pending help me what should itell them

is there any chance of job loose for it ? all have several case but i do not know why TCs infy take it a big issue after giving offer they took post bgck and raise this issue
Dear Sudipta,
If no police had ever visited your home, it only means , no FIR was lodged. Whatever that was told to you was more of a threatening. However, your ex-employer might retain a negative records for you. Thats your only concern.
Here are your options, please first discuss this incident with a legal expert and close the case form your end with more understanding on such open-ended threats.
Take the HR of your new employer in confidence as share that there can be a negative feedback for you . If you do this, you have to back your case with a recommendation from an industry expert who knows your work and is ready to vouch for your capabilities. Furthermore, connect with atleast one leader with your ex-employer who can validate your innocence to the incident .
Trust it will not go that wrong and you will surely secure the job. Wish you all the best !
As a HR practitioner with hands of experience in this area last 10 years, you are about to get into some troubles if you have committed information theft whether you are in IT or any other industry. Please introspect yourself if you have committed or connived knowingly or unknowingly for some offence or acted against company interests. Keep your head high if you have clean chit. If you have committed wrong, go back to company and discuss with them honestly. Things will open up if you prove your innocence.

Most companies will take a very negative view of criminal complains pending, specially if they're on document threat. It is very likely that you will be terminated from the job
Do you have any proof of innocence ?
All above are discussing with probabilities the information supplied by Mr.Sudipta is insufficient to give comment.
1) Whether you recd copy of FIR lodged by the company?
2) As he said so far there is no police interrogation for alleged crime the question of filing case against is remote.
3) More ever TCS is informing Mr. Supdta that case has been lodged, It quite possible that the company ise trying to pressurizing him for reasons best known to them..
In consideration of the above, I do not see any point in this issue..
However if you committed such crime it is very bad for your carrier.
