Sir,
I hope the below reasons may end ur search, regardign the usual question asked u in interviews.
1)If a person is qualified in multi-acdemica then automatically he ll hv exposure in different platforms. keeping in this context i planned my career in both engineering and Management.
2) In manufaturing industry managing people is not an easy job, so with my technical knowledge i can understand the work scenario well rather than having a management candidature alone.

Dear Swati,
I was thinking interviewers opinion on the question..
I see Engineering/Management always works together. For example without engineer product cannot be designed/developed and without smart manager it cannot be sold to the prize it deserves. So there is a strong relation between them and why not a person learn both.
But question is are we really focused on learning new things or finding better life with hugh money and lots of envy.

i have done b.e. n now persuing mba...
Reason: b.e.+mba is a complete package required in market,
when we start marketing our product we must have its full information
and today we are almost surrounded with technology, gadegts, machine,
b.e help us out to understand various machines, programming language,
provides information of various parts of a system.....
all this is usefull in marketing ,branding, purchasing ,saleing....
n very importantly it help us to understand the market requirement
so it help in market analysis also...
so i would suggest every student who want to work in coorporative
world must posses techical knoweldge that will add credibility to ur work...
thk you

hello,
by doing BE, you get skills of a "DOER" i.e to complete a task with certain skill. but by doing MBA, you get competency of a "MANAGER" to compete task in optimized manner.
well, if i am a hr professional and i do not know what skills are required to perform a job, i will end up with recruitment of wrong or incompetent workforce. this will act as a overhead cost on company in future as training of those workers.
Thus, by knowing technical requirement of job, i can help company in a long run.

You may want to go for MBA after BE if you want a Managerial position, if you wish to climb teh Technology ladder you will choose to opt for M.Tech or MS..
look at Programs & courses, I2IT, IsquareIT, Top MBA schools, B-schools, Pune, India, MBA IT, MBA, Telecom Management, Biotechnology, VLSI design, Networking, Nanotechnology, Pune, India for Program Details in both fields at iiit pune.
I would suggest you go for MBA as the growth is faster there..

well i am telling you the fact of humen nature- people aften want to achieve wat they don\'t have..and when they achieve wat they wanted to achieve..interest gone..its natural..now i come to ur soluton...after engg. people apt for mba - to better understand the industry requirement, management strategy and needs apart from technical skill which will make them to grow exponentially and also provide them unique identity. so people who have technical as well as management skill can help the organization in both way and act as a strong pillaron which the organization success depends on. hope you satisfy with my ans..well there are several other reasons also...but time and space do not allow me to write..

[QUOTE=SunilChandra;196951]Dear Swati,
Hi Sir,
With your help i made one ans for this question ,i added some more new points thank you
BE after MBA is a very lethal combination to have for the corporate world
BE enhanced my logical and analytical abilities and i learn different technical aspects too
when it comes to MBA it gives me the whole picture of the how org works and
MBA is a practitioner degree
The combination of both it will help me to grow broadly and adopt quickly along with the company growth
The reason i choose marketing as my stream in MBA is ,I am good at maintaining relationships and presentations , talkative person these skills will be useful and it will be polished if i choose marketing as my stream So this is the reason i choose
and i am happy it helped me a lot to develop my skills

Now i am very much confident i choose right decision at that point of time
Thank you
tell me if any corrections are required

Hi swati !
I am facing the same problem. I am in my last semester of my MBA (HR) and before i have done B.E in IT. Now where ever i go, interviewers asked me the same question " Why MBA after B.E ?" I am also confused what these companies actually want?
