It is laudable to initiate a programme on I can make a difference.
A very popular small film was there, about efforts taken by individuals.
It shows a young man on the shore throwing something into the sea.
Another person who goes nearby finds that he is throwing Star Fish back into the sea.
Hundreds of Star Fish were lying aside the shore, pushed there by the powerful waves.
The onlooker asks him why he is doing that.
The young man says he is throwing back the Star Fish to sea - where they belong.
The other person says since so many of Star Fish are lying on the shore, how
he can accomplish what wants to do.
Without making any reply this time, the young man continues the task of
throwing back the Star Fish one by one to the sea.
He is an example of I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
