Hi,
I'm working for a MNC and we have about 300 employees in our organisation. Maintaining leave record of all employees manually is more time consuming and becoming tough day by day. Can anyone suggest a software for maintaining leave record?

Hi Mahalakshmi,
While i appreciate your initiative, i also suggest you to first check with your manager/management whether are they willing to procure as this involves money and yearly/often service maintanence.
And, if they are interested you may google it as there are many products available in the market. Each differs from the other product & you have to chose the one that best suits your company leave policy. So i suggest you to call each one and ask for demo where you would be able to chose one matching your company leave policy. I'm using Whizible in my company and found ultimate, FYI... All the best...!

Hi,
I do not think spending on a software just for leave accounting is an overkill.
The most simple way would be to have leave cards for each employee, these cards can be kept within each department by the group secretary. The same card can be used to apply for leave. You will have just one record for leave application and balances. The design is very simple if you wish I will give you the design.
However, if you do want a software then I suggest you go for a complete HRM system. There are quite a few available. The ones suggested in other comments are expensive.
I know of a good HRM system which will not be very expensive. Let me know and I will put you on to the vendor of the system.

Hi,
Seems above solutions are complicated. I worked as a HR Director for a company with more than 1000 staff and developled a HR system with Microsofe Office Access. It is easier way to manage leave record with Access than Excel, which is mostly used by HR professionals.

firstly understand between buying a readymade shirt and a tailored shirt.
ready made shirt may look nice on first look but the quality of colth is not ur choice and the measurements are not perfect for u.
it will have certain items which u may not need and not according to ur company requirements as u would love to have it for ur reports and work .
a good marketing man will sell his product to u fully sugar coated and when u come across a problem later he will leave u in thick soup.
