I wanted to discuss and take up all of your suggestion on a case of mine,
I was recruited with my current company last year September, after completion of 6months, i got a pay hike and permanent status with the company,
Now what is happening with me that, the person who was my mentor (I am in L&D dept)
has been resigned and now they are not conducting trainings much,
2nd thing earlier a single person was responsible of learning activities of a particular group like I was so I had ample work to b engaged in to.
Now They established a T&D department where thy recruited 5 ppl and they lookin after whole companies learning activities,
And they still not shifted me in to that department,
So at this point of time I am left with no work, my performance was satisfactory always thats why i got a reasonable hike at the end of my probation period. I am confident if I'll be given new assignment I will be able to carry them well but the thing is that they do not have any assignment for me now...
Here I came to know that they are planning for a buget cut(right sizing) and person who are not contributing much to the company are handed notice.
Now plz throw sum light on the case what should I do ......
Address it plz ..........it,s urgent for me,,,,guide me
