PF form-9 have to submit first time when any company registered under PF act it is a signatory authority record. when any employees resign his job. sign authority match with form-9

Hi Ken,
Its informative, But can you be please specify that, If signing authority( Respective person) separates from the organization, does it require to submit any other forms specifying the changes in authority, or how to proceed.

If the authorised person seperates from the company, the management needs to provide the PF authority with a letter mentioning the reason for change/ asking permission to authorize the concerned person for signing the PF forms. Thereby, a specimen signature should also be given for reference.

Form-9 is one time activity to be submitted of employees who are entitled and required to become members of the Employees' Provident Fund and Pension Fund.
The form contain following details:
 PF Account no.,
 Name of Employee,
 Father’s name (or husband’s name in case of married women),
 DOB,
 Sex,
 DOJ,
 Details of previous services,
 Date of PensionScheme,
 Date and reason of leaving service,
 Remarks of settlement i.e. authoriry signature, amt, year of settlement, etc.
This is also a kind of employee book containing employee’s all the information provided at the time of joining services till the separation. PF authority refers this book to validating correct PF numbers or name. This is very important data for employee record purpose, if any employee’s record doesn't matches with above field he / she may not able to withdrawal / transfer PF.

Hi,
This is required by the PF department when you have not submitted your monthly returns correctly (like Form 5 & 10) earlier.
Form 9 is a ready reckoner of all employees who joined and left the company with all their master attributes. You should give this as on date and later on keep giving Form 5 and 10 regularly. Thanks.

Dear All
Form 9 will be submitted while getting PF code in the PF office. One copy of form 9 which we submitted will be maintain by PF office in section, 1 copy will be maintain in organisation.
The employee addition, deletion & general detail like allocating PF no , father name , DOJ wil be there in form 9.
In the front page a 3 authorized person will sign, that will be a counter check for employer signature we submitting settlement form like 13,19, 10c & 10D etc..

Dear Dr. Kumar,
I think Mr. Santoshm_hr's Form is the right one. Actually I have also discussed with PF Authority & their advice is also the same with Mr Santosh. Its a basic requirement from PF Department which the employer must submit in the process of getting a new PF Code.

Dear Ms. Aisha. K,
For a proper PF registration the Company should have atleast 20 employee count and the firm should be 3 years established. According the Employee Provident Fund Act, they should submit Form 5A to the comissioner a PF office, the form should be given in duplicate. There are some purticulars that have to be submitted along with the form; Owners & Directors details, Partners, branches and other details as requested within few days. On receipt of this Form 5A, the PF Commissioner willl verify the facts and check whether the documents are genuine, will then proceed to get you a Establishment Code. The registration will be not more than a month.

Its appreciable that, I have got a very quick response and informative. As you described, For the PF registration it requires 20 employee strength along with should be a 3year old company. Please clarify me the below.
1. 20 employee cont referring, includes both probation and conformed employees or only conformed employees.
2. 3 year period of operations is mandatory? or a organization with one year and 20 employees can also opt for PF.
3. What are Post registration activities- once the organization gets the PF code
4. How does an employee can freeze his contribution, irrespective of Employer contribution
Looking forward for your views.

Dear Ms. Aisha,
1] PF registration has to be done when the firm consists of 20 employees; both probationary and confirmed emloyees together.
2] Three years is a mandate period but if your employer is consistent; you may apply specifying the company is 1 year old.
3] Once the company gets an Establishment code; the Employer and the employee both need to fill in consent and authorization, PF related forms to carry on the further procedure. (pls. find the below attached for more information)
4] Once the employee has decided to provide his contribution, he shall be contributing and there ain't way to bring to a standstill.

But can you please give the actual flow of activities to be done, and specify each form with respect to activity and necessity. I hope this is a time consuming process to write up, But requesting you to give me a clear view of the procedure in a way that I can handle on my own, with no more assistance.

Form 2: PF details
Form 3A: Employee contribution details
Form 5: This should be filled by the Employer for joining the new staff to PF
Form 6A: Consolidated Employee contribution list
Form 10: Staff details who resigned
FOrm 10C: Employer's PF contribution for staff not covered with ervice of 10 years.
Form 10D: Employer's PF contribution towrds staff who is covered with service of 1o years or 58 yrs for Pension Scheme.
Form 12A: Different numbers of Employee contribution under accounts
Form 19: PF withdrawal form

I have done PF withdrawal online claim. after some day a call coming from PF Office. he tell me your PF is not credited in your bank account due to some problem in your bank account number. now you must submit Re- Authorization form with bank or Employer sign and seal.
