Dear Sir,
One of employee was absent so i asked her to give me leave form .Upon that she come to me that you adjust my leave against com off . I said ok I will adjust the leave against the com off but you give me leave form for my record.
As per our record she is having 3 com off & 16 leaves.
She denied me to give leave form as she said why I should give you leave form when it is com off.
Please advice how do I maintain Compensatory Off record
I request you while replying; please give me your email as I do not how to reply the received post

U just make small change in the leave form..stating both comp off and leave...tehy will have chance to select either of that u can maintain it easily...when it is como off ,file it separately..

We can also maintain a Comp Off Register for our own record so that when an employee apply to avail the said off it will be easy to verify. Please suggest if I am wrong.......

Ya you can maintain a separate register for comp off and in general we will have a time limit to use that comp off our organization..we can avail in 15 days or it is lapsed..
All this record is just to have information about there comp off..

i agree with vasavi s . we need not maintain record for comp off's we can add an option in leave form to know whether it is a comp off or leave that's it.

If someone is availing comp off then for record one simple one thing you can do is add in your leave form such a column where employees are suppose to mention Leave type like Comp Off/PL etc.
There is no such a legal provision but Whether its a comp off or leave employees are suppose to submit leave application. Then only we can maintain their leave record in a proper manner.

dear, tell her to give an application to adjust c off against leave approver by her senior
Dear ,
Just ask her to submit leave form thus you can adjust her c-off against leave.If she says no straight way mark her absent.Don't process her salary for that day.Take your senior in loop.
Being a HR person you have to make them understood.

Having a separate file for comp off required to avoid any future conflicts..
sometimes employees forget the dates they applied for..and they give application for used ones..the record will help us to verify the dates ..and those applications can removed after certain specified time..and those should be used with specified time otherwise it should lapsed..if no such rule , then there will chances of reapplying fro same dates
If am wrong...suggest me
